‘Ilaló de Vuelta’ celebrates Sustainable Mobility Week

Get your bike ready and join our cause.

From September 16 to 22, the International Sustainable Mobility Week is celebrated worldwide, an initiative that promotes environmentally friendly forms of transportation such as cycling, walking, and the right to decent public transportation.

Within this celebration, there is a varied agenda of citizen activities and we are pleased to announce that the second “Ilaló de Vuelta” Cycling Tour is part of it; as well as the local celebration promoted by the Safe Mobility Coalition Ecuador.

Durante el primer ciclopaseo ‘Ilaló de Vuelta’ nos acompañó Pabel Muñoz, alcalde de Quito, y recibió las firmas de organizaciones e iniciativas ciudadanas para proteger el Ilaló
During the first “Ilaló de Vuelta” cycling tour, we were joined by Pabel Muñoz, Mayor of Quito, who received the signatures of organizations and citizen initiatives to protect Ilaló.

For the second “Ilaló de Vuelta” Cycling Tour, we will meet on Sunday, September 17th at the Tola Chica Church and pedal to La Merced Park, where there will be cultural, artistic, and educational activities. The “Ilaló de Vuelta” cycling tours aim to protect and recover Ilaló through the creation of a permanent cycle path around this volcano. Don’t miss out and join this citizen action!
